Tyler Lechtenberg is managing principal at Fenway Strategies. Beginning as a campaign field organizer and rising to Senior Presidential Speechwriter in the White House, Lechtenberg served President Barack Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama for more than 11 years. He’s written remarks and various other content for both principals, including supporting Mrs. Obama on her record-breaking memoir, Becoming. Prior to his time in politics, Lechtenberg worked in marketing and higher education in Portland, Oregon; as executive director of The 10,000 Hours Show, a startup nonprofit formed to encourage volunteerism; and as an award-winning sportswriter for The Gazette in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A farm kid who grew up outside of Strawberry Point, Iowa, Lechtenberg holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa.
